Some exciting news thanks to the Victorian State Government and Zoos Victoria.
As of July 1, kids under 16 years will get free admission into all three zoos (Healesville, Werribee and Melbourne) on weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
For Zoo Members, this means that next time you renew your membership you will only pay for family members over 16 years of age - meaning free entry for under-16's every day of the year.
Oh YAY! We just avoided having to pay for my 4yo this year (renewal came up just before his birthday) - fantastic news that he'll keep on being free!

I've used an old livejournal ID that I use occasionally when blog comments require an ID but prefer to just leave my name and tend not to comment if more is required. Totally understand though if you've had spam issues from more open commenting.)
